We started raising miniature donkeys almost 30 years ago. The jennet shown above was our first foal and was named after my mother, Victoria. This jennet (Victoria's Secret) has been the foundation of our herd. Our focus is beautifully correct donkeys with wonderful temperaments. We have a herd of about 30 jennets and 5 breeding jacks. We

This jennet (Victoria's Secret) has been the foundation of our herd. Our focus is beautifully correct donkeys with wonderful temperaments. We have a herd of about 30 jennets and 5 breeding jacks. We offer a few select foals per year. Most are breeding/show quality, but we occasionally have pets too.

Mini Moons Ago is located in Schulenburg Texas. We are open to ranch visits by appointment only. We raise miniature donkeys and miniature cattle on 85 acres in the middle of rolling hills and beautiful views. We would love for you to visit. Please see our Contact Page for information.

Mini Moons Ago is the home of National Champion, FL GoldMiner. We are also the former home of Reserve National Champion, RG's FX. Our main focus is correct structure. Color and heights are secondary. Please check out our In The Showring page to see some of our show photos.
Miniature Cows

We acquired our first group of miniature cows in 2022. Our focus is conformationally correct cattle with lots of fluff and no horns. We currently have a herd of 20 heifers/cows and 3 bulls. We have Belted Galloways (Oreo Cows), Highland crosses, Dexter and Aberdeen. Please visit our Miniature Cattle page to see information on our herd
